Hong Kong, 28 October 2025 – International Data Corporation (IDC) today announced the national winners of the IDC Future Enterprise Awards (FEA) 2025 for Hong Kong. With the rapid rise of Generative AI, the awards aim to recognize future-focused organizations adopting innovative business models to build and sustain competitive digital operations in 2025 and beyond.

“This year’s winners are redefining what it means to be AI-ready,” said Linus Lai, vice president, Digital Business, IDC Asia/Pacific. “They are proving that the next phase of digital transformation isn’t just about adopting technology—it’s about orchestrating intelligence across the enterprise to create measurable impact for customers, employees, and society.”

The following are the best out of all the nominations received from Hong Kong:

AI CoE of the Year | AXA Data & AI CoE by AXA Hong Kong and Macau Limited

AXA’s Data and AI Center of Excellence (AICoE) is strategically aligned with the company’s business objectives, focusing on initiatives that deliver substantial value and foster innovation. By targeting high-impact areas, AICoE ensures AI projects enhance operational efficiency and strengthen market differentiation. A prime example is the LLM Project, leveraging Generative AI to transform operations and integrate AI across AXA Hong Kong and the Group. The AICoE demonstrates innovation by seamlessly integrating AI into everyday business processes through Secure GPT (SGPT), an AI-powered chat assistant that improves productivity and reduces workplace stress. A key performance indicator is the productivity gain achieved through Secure GPT, saving over 400 man-days annually – with about 35% of employees reporting weekly time savings of 1-2 hours.

Building on the robust infrastructure that they have already constructed through the Cloud-Powered Transformation – involving large-scale migration of approximately 9,000 workloads, modernizing applications, and eliminating end-of-life technologies – AIA was able to develop an AI-ready platform that positioned the company for enterprise-wide AI deployment at speed and scale. AIA also created a comprehensive data catalogue, resulting in a curated database on the cloud, and easy-to-use tools that enable teams from across the company to access and use that data. With everything in place, AIA was able to deploy 53 Gen AI use cases in 2024, transforming the insurance value chain across four key areas: distribution, customer service, operations, and technology. AIA’s AI-powered solutions upskilled 4,500+ agents, reduced contact centre response times by 50%, cut document processing times in half, and decreased software development time by 55%.
